Do you need a journalist or writer for a new project? Are you looking for a keen content creator to help shape your brand? Or do you need somebody to help with public relations?
Patrick Kelleher has worked as a journalist in the Irish media since 2016, originally as a News Reporter at Independent News and Media (INM) and then as a freelance journalist. He has experience producing hard-hitting news stories for national publications, as well as important features investigating issues across social affairs, health, education, housing and the arts.
At the core of the work Patrick does is strong, gripping storytelling. More and more organisations are starting to realise the power of the story, and how brands can now create their own powerful stories that will engage clients and customers. Patrick has previously worked for UK charity Alzheimer’s Research UK, where he worked in Public Relations, writing press releases about people’s personal experiences of dementia and engaging with families directly affected by the condition. While working there, he placed stories in UK national media outlets such as the Daily Mail, the Sunday Express and others.
More recently, since going freelance, he has worked in content creation for a health and wellbeing app, as well as working on news and features for national media outlets in Ireland and the UK. He is currently freelancing for UK LGBT+ news website, PinkNews, and writes features for The Irish Times.
